I would be doing just that right now. Last night I only got about 5 hours of sleep which is about 3-4 hours less than I normally get. I'm sluggish and a little achy. The cold, windy, and wet weather doesn't help the situation either. I'm training two clients later today, two tomorrow, and yet another two on Saturday. Lord help me... for real. I hope I haven't gotten myself into more than I can handle. The light (Seth) at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter and brighter so I know everrything's going to be just fine. Even just writing this all out right now is helping me settle down. So, thanks for listening!
I woke up starving and my tummy was askin for some egg whites so that is just what I had. Half of a bagel with a wedge of laughing cow cheese, sauted spinach, and egg whites. And as a snack I had a banana smeared with peanut butter. Mmmm...
The computer I'm using right now won't let me upload the pics so I'll try to do that later for ya'll.
Now I'm finishing up a yummy salad for lunch. It included spinach, grilled chicken (thanks Kim for the left-overs!) mixed greens, gorgozola cheese, walnuts, apple slices, onion, brocolli slaw, and lite raspberry vin. dressing. I highly recommend you go home and try this salad soon. I love the salty sweetness that it has. Oh, and it's crisp too with the apple slices. Great spring/summer salad! Now if only this weather would cooperate...
Later I plan on snacking on cucumber slices with spinach artichoke hummus. Trying to get those veggies in to help me feel better and of course drinking lots and lots of water.
So much (great stuff!) is coming up and I think that's partly why I had trouble sleeping last night. Do you ever have trouble turning off your brain? I do often and it can be quite frustrating at times. Hopefully tonight I will be out by 9. That would be so lovely!
Well kiddos I'm gonna go...try to at least rest my eyes for a while and see what happens..
Have a great day!
Why are you and I soo bad at napping?
ReplyDeleteThat salad sounds nice...maybe I'll try it soon!
